Admission to the Foundation Faculty

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 24, 2024, No. 310, registration for admission to the Preparatory Department of the Foundation Faculty at the Non-Profit Joint Stock Company “M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University” for the 2024–2025 academic year is conducted on a competitive basis.

Admission procedure to the Foundation Faculty of M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University for the 2024–2025 academic year

Registration period: from August 5 to September 5, 2024.

To register, applicants must submit the following documents in one package either in paper form to: Petropavlovsk, Internatsionalnaya Street 26, Academic Building No. 5, Room 206 or electronically to: skgu.foundation@bk.ru

 The list of required documents:

•  an application for admission in electronic or paper form;
• an electronic copy or paper version of an identification document with a notarized translation; 
• an electronic copy or paper version of the educational document and its annexes, along with a scanned notarized translation (if the document is entirely in a foreign language), including a translation of the seal; 
• a medical certificate for those going abroad for education, issued by the official health authorities of the applicant’s country of residence. 

Note: For electronic registration, the application form must be printed, filled out by hand, scanned, and submitted via email along with the other documents. Each document must be scanned separately, saved in PDF format under its specific name (e.g., “Kazakh ethnicity certificate,” “passport,” etc.) and sent in one email.

If the submitted documents meet all requirements, within three business days of registration the applicant will receive a “Accepted” confirmation email to the address provided during registration. If the documents are incomplete or non-compliant, the applicant will be notified of the refusal. After correcting any issues, the applicant may resubmit their documents before the September 5 deadline.

The competitive entrance exam will be held from September 10 to September 15, 2024, in the form of an interview (offline or online via Zoom).

Registration period: from August 5 to September 5, 2024.

To register, you need to send the following documents in one letter, either in paper form to Petropavlovsk, 26 International Street, Academic Building No. 5, Room 206, or electronically via email to skgu.foundation@bk.ru.

 The list of required documents:

•  an application for admission in electronic or paper form;
• an electronic copy or paper version of an identification document; 
• an electronic copy or paper version of the general secondary (general secondary), primary vocational (technical and vocational), or secondary vocational (post-secondary) educational document and its annexes; 
• a medical certificate 075/u. 

Note: For electronic registration, you need to print the application, fill it out manually, scan it, and send it via email along with other documents. Each document must be scanned separately, saved as a PDF file with its own name (e.g., certificate of Kazakh nationality, passport, etc.), and sent in one email to the indicated address. 

If the submitted documents are properly formatted and meet the requirements, within three working days from the registration date, a “Accepted” notification will be sent to the email address provided during registration. If the documents do not meet the requirements, the applicant will be notified of the refusal of document registration. After receiving the refusal notification, the applicant can re-register for participation in the competition until September 5. 

The competitive entrance exam will be held from September 10 to 15, 2024, in the format of the Unified National Testing (ENT) for two subjects: the compulsory subject (English language) and one elective subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics). The entrance exam will be held offline or online (via ZOOM). The basis for approving the online format: if the place of residence is outside the North Kazakhstan region.
