Development of an energy-efficient laser-plasma technology for restoring the spatial shape of self-sharpening working bodies of earth-moving, mining and agricultural machines with the possibility of their repair at remote sites from stationary mechanizati
Priority area: Electric Power Engineering and mechanical engineering

Project manager: Tomashets A.K., Ph.D.
Project executors: Bondarev V.K., Ph.D., Khairullin B.T., PhD., Ivanishchev A.A., Master, PhD candidate, Ivanova O.V., Master.
Terms of execution: 2019-2022.
Amount of financing: 69,000,000 tenge.
The purpose of the project: Creation of an energy-efficient laser-plasma technology for restoring the spatial shape of self-sharpening working bodies of earth-moving, mining and agricultural machines, ensuring a reduction in energy consumption for the destruction of compacted soils during mining, construction of roads, buildings, gas and oil pipelines and cultivation of arable land.
Expected results: Energy-efficient technology for restoring the spatial shape of self-sharpening working bodies of machines by a source of laser-plasma energy. In an integrated solution to the problem of the quality of restoration of machine organs.
Breakthrough results are expressed in the creation of innovative nano-structured technologies, an increase in the resource of machine organs in the republic.
It is applicable in the development of laser-plasma recovery and increasing the resource of self-sharpening working bodies. Attractive completeness, autonomy and ready for commercialization.
Obtaining 2 international patents for invention. Possible licensing agreement. Publications in international and Kazakh editions.
Description of the project: The idea of the project is the formation of an optimally structured spatial shape of the working bodies of machines by laser-plasma processes, capable of self-sharpening when performing technological and operational operations, ensuring minimum energy consumption.
The scientifically grounded technological solutions developed in the project will provide agriculture, mining and construction industries with a highly efficient and resource-saving technology for laser-plasma restoration of working bodies of earth-moving and agricultural machines, Kazakhstan's competitiveness in the world mechanical engineering.
Project objectives:
−analytical studies on the creation of an energy-efficient technology for the restoration of self-sharpening working bodies of earth-moving and mining machines by laser-plasma energy sources;−mathematical description of the rheological model of compacted soils;
−construction of a mathematical model of the dynamics of the spatial interaction of the working bodies of road-building, mining and agricultural machines with compacted soil. Analysis of the possibility of modifying the working bodies with laser technology;
−development of a methodology for substantiating the optimal parameters of working bodies of increased efficiency in the development of compacted soil−development of technical requirements and technical specifications for the development of self-sharpening working bodies of earth-moving, mining and agricultural machines, energy-efficient technology for the restoration of laser and plasma energy;
−development of a set of design documentation for an experimental model of an energy-efficient self-sharpening working body and laser-plasma recovery technology;
−development of an optimal multicomponent powder composition for modification of physical and mechanical properties and structure of the working body;
−production of an experimental model of an energy-efficient self-sharpening working body and a technological process of laser-plasma restoration of spatial forms;
−production tests of the experimental model and restored working bodies of increased efficiency, practical development of the technology of laser-plasma restoration, correction of design documentation based on the test results.
