Constitutional Reform and the Future of Healthcare: A Dialogue with Students

A meeting between students and representatives of the Healthcare Department of the North Kazakhstan Region, as well as heads of regional medical organizations, was held at the Medical Faculty of Kozybayev University. The occasion for the dialogue was the discussion of the draft Constitutional Reform of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, participants examined in detail the key areas of the reform, its impact on the healthcare system, issues related to improving the performance of medical organizations, and strengthening the legal foundations of the sector.

The speakers paid special attention to the role of youth in shaping future transformations and to the importance of the Constitution as the fundamental document of the state.

The Director of the Medical Faculty, Bakhtiyar Serik, emphasized:

“Today’s discussion platform is primarily aimed at helping students gain a deeper understanding of the significance of the constitutional reform. In the near future, they will complete their studies and begin their professional careers. As future doctors, they must understand the content and value of this document. For the academic community, education and science remain among the Constitution’s priority areas.”

Such events contribute to the development of students’ civic responsibility and highlight the university’s role as an open platform for discussing socially significant initiatives.
