Congratulations to Dean Altin Shayahmetova!

Today, in honor of International Women's Day, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held a solemn ceremony to award the N. Bazanova Prize to leading female scientists. The awards were given to researchers who have demonstrated outstanding results, high scientific potential, and gained recognition in our country in the field of science. A total of 48 leading women scientists, who made significant contributions to the development of science, were honored. Among the recipients was Altin Shayahmetova, Dean of the Agrotechnology Faculty at Kozybayev University, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, and Associate Professor.

Altin Seytakhmetovna conducts research in the field of fodder production and rational use of pasture lands. She is the head of two projects under the PCF (Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan). She is the author of more than 50 scientific publications, 13 of which are indexed in Scopus and WoS databases. Her H-index is 6. She holds patents for a utility model. Currently, she is involved in a project with scientists from the University of Arizona on the microbiological assessment of water, and she is also a member of the research group for the international GreenAgro project, funded by Germany. She has completed scientific internships under the "500 Scientists" program at the University of Arizona (USA), as well as scientific internships in Poland, Israel, Russia, Belarus, and Uzbekistan.
