Setting records

The Kazakhstan Amateur Athletics Championship was held in Astana. Three of our students took part in it. All of them performed brilliantly and reached the podium! Nikita Izotov won two first places in the 800 and 1,500 meters. At these distances, he set the records of Kazakhstan among amateurs!

Danila Svirzhevsky won 4 gold medals in the long jump, high jump, triple jump and shot put, as well as a bronze medal in the 3000 m run.

Yulia Bezushko took second place in the 200m and became the third in the 60m. The coach of our athletes, senior lecturer at the Department of Physical education  and Sports, A.V. Naumov, competed in the veteran category and won a gold medal in the high jump. Congratulations! Further success and new records!
