Today, the Kozybayev University team visited the Higher North Kazakhstan Professional Pedagogical College. Strong partnerships have been established with this educational institution. Our students do their internships here. They also have the opportunity to acquire an additional working specialty in the field of electric power and motor transport.
Representatives of the university visited laboratories opened within the framework of the "Zhas Maman" national project and workshops where students learn the practical basics of the profession on modern equipment. An important event was the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the field of improving the quality of personnel training based on joint scientific and methodological, educational, innovative, and technological potential.
"Since 2010, our college has been cooperating with the university in training qualified personnel. On the basis of the college, university students take short-term courses and internships. Today's signing of the agreement marks a new stage in the development of the education system. We hope for fruitful cooperation and are confident that with your support we will be able to train a new generation of professionals who can contribute to the development of our country's economy," said Yerkin Zhakupov, Director of VSKPPK.
At a meeting with college students, Chairman of the Board – Rector Yerbol Isakayev spoke about the prospects of continuing education at our university. Today, college students have a unique opportunity to enroll in dual education, which allows them to obtain higher education without taking a break from work. That is, by enrolling in our university in a related specialty after graduating from college, applicants can apply for a grant and receive a scholarship. It will only take 2 years to study in an accelerated, dual form. At the same time, if a young specialist is employed, he will also receive a salary from the employer. The educational trajectory is structured in such a way that it allows combining work and study. For out-of-town students, a big plus will be 100% provision of dormitories.
"As you know, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has declared 2025 the Year of Working Professions. Also, in his Address, the Head of State noted that we need to put education on technical rails. This direction is given great attention, a large number of grants are allocated annually for technical, pedagogical, and agrotechnological specialties," said Chairman of the Board – Rector Yerbol Isakayev.
When entering the university on a grant after college, students only take 2 subjects. Those who are ready to study on a paid basis go through an interview. A big plus for those wishing to enroll in our university will be free UNT courses for college graduates. They start in February, will last until May, and will allow students to improve their knowledge, preparing qualitatively for testing.
