The dialogue platform for discussing the initiatives outlined by the Head of State in the 2024 Message brought together students, teachers and representatives of the Amanat party. The event was also attended by city council deputy Elena Semidotskih and student ombudsman Karima Zhunusova.
The students were told about the key points of the program document. The President called providing the economy with qualified personnel the most urgent task and that special attention should be paid to blue-collar jobs. The head of the Department of Agronomy and Forestry Fariza Mukanova reported on the development of the agro-industrial complex and the tasks that would help achieve it, all of which are present in the Message. Another topic brought up by the President is the peaceful atom. Kazakhstan is threatened by a shortage of electricity. The current growth of population and production leads to that shortage. A reliable and environmentally friendly source of energy – a nuclear power plant – may be the solution.
"Kazakhstan uses renewable energy sources. But they are, unfortunately, not stable and do not cover the demand in the country. Therefore, we need to understand that in order for us to further develop our country, to open new enterprises, new processing plants, we need nuclear energy,” noted the first deputy chairman of the Bolashak branch of the Amanat party, Alexander Zel.
