Humanitarian aid for university staff and employees affected by the flood

Kozybayev University has received 5 tons of humanitarian aid from AlmaU, the management of the university in Almaty. It will be directed to the staff and educators of our university who have been affected by the flood.

Food products, warm clothing, electric kettles, medications, cleaning supplies, sleeping bags, rubber boots, vests, and much more are being distributed among those in need. It is worth noting that AlmaU is a partner of our university. Together with them, educational programs for MBA graduate studies have been successfully implemented for the past two years.

Additionally, 27 boxes containing medicines, baby food, food sets, household chemicals, and bedding sets have been sent to Kozybayev University from the CenterCredit Bank. Our university also has long-standing partnership relations with them regarding student internships, training, and graduate employment.

We are thankful for the assistance provided! Your support is highly valuable! This is a significant help for people who have found themselves in a difficult life situation due to a natural disaster.

In our university, 26 families from among the faculty have been affected by the flood. Accommodations in the university dormitory have been provided for all of them. Additionally, a humanitarian aid collection point was operational at Building No. 4 for a month, where staff and employees could donate clothing, food, cleaning supplies, etc. The assembled packages were then directed to the affected families of our colleagues.
