Geographers proved their knowledge
Our students continue to please their successes in the Republican Student Subject Olympiad. Young geographers competed with each other in knowledge at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Teams from various higher education institutions of Kazakhstan were represented in the Olympics, where training of specialists in natural sciences is carried out. The team of 3 persons performed from Kozybayev University. They were students of specialty "Geography" - Arystan Zakirin, Asel Sultanova and Danila Makhin. Their scientific adviser was Gulnur Mazhitova.
Participants had to go through three rounds to win. The first - the stage of greeting, here the guys told about the team and in general about the activities of the university. Then a theoretical stage. The main task was to perform test tasks. The final step was the most interesting - the defense of a scientific project. Contestants presented their work, defended and proved their relevance. As a result, our students took an honorable II place! Congratulations!!!
