February 18-19, 2020. Working meeting to discuss the autonomy model
On February 18-19, 2020, a working meeting of Kazakhstan partners was held on the basis of the NAO "Medical University of Karaganda" within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Transition to University autonomy in Kazakhstan/ TRUNAK".
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the developed model of autonomy, make recommendations and review completed tasks, and develop explanatory notes for the four models of autonomy.
The meeting was attended by representatives of 5 Kazakh universities: Astana Medical University; Marat Ospanov West-Kazakhstan State Medical University; North Kazakhstan State University named after Manash Kozybayev; Karaganda economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz and Karaganda Medical University.
During the meeting, the participants were divided into four groups, each group was responsible for one model of autonomy, for example, Karaganda Medical University developed a draft description of personnel autonomy, Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz developed a description of financial autonomy, North Kazakhstan state University named after M. Kozybayev described the academic autonomy, and Astana Medical University prepared an explanatory note to the organizational autonomy.
After the end of the working meeting, all explanatory notes on the four autonomy models were sent to all partners for suggestions.
