Confident and Professional in the Water
As part of the Spartakiad among university faculty members and staff, one of the most dynamic and spectacular stages took place - the swimming competition. The participants demonstrated excellent physical fitness, competitive spirit, and true team unity.
Seven teams took part in the competition: Faculty of Education, Institute of Language and Literature, Agrotechnological Faculty, Military Department, Administrative and Managerial Personnel, and Faculty of Mathematics, Economics and Natural Sciences.
Individual event: 50 m freestyle
Men:
1st place - Pavel Moiseev (Administrative and Managerial Personnel) - 32.05
2nd place - Alexander Naumov (Pedagogical Faculty) - 35.16
3rd place - Andrey Glyvyak (Pedagogical Faculty) - 36.28
Women:
1st place - Yuliya Bezushko (Pedagogical Faculty) - 41.18
2nd place - Yevgeniya Sotnichenko (Pedagogical Faculty) - 44.18
3rd place - Sauleish Aubakirova (Institute of Language and Literature) - 01:08.86
4×50 m freestyle relay (mixed):
1st place - Pedagogical Faculty
2nd place - Agrotechnological Faculty
3rd place - Institute of Language and Literature
As a result, the overall team winner was the Faculty of Education. The Agrotechnological Faculty took silver, and the Institute of Language and Literature won bronze.
The swimming competitions clearly showed that the university’s faculty members and staff are not only professionals in their fields but also active and determined people for whom sport is an important part of life. The Spartakiad continues, with many more exciting stages ahead! We thank all participants for their sportsmanship and great atmosphere!
