Kozybayev University implements the strategy of the President of Kazakhstan

Yesterday, on October 31, 2025, Astana hosted the International Forum of Strategic Partners "Kazakhstan — the territory of Academic Education", at which the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym‑Jomart Tokayev delivered a speech. In his speech, the Head of state stressed that education and science are the most important areas of strategic importance, which have no borders and unite all countries of the world. Special attention was paid to the development of universities, the creation of international academic platforms and the strengthening of strategic partnership between universities in Kazakhstan and leading foreign universities. M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University confirms its intention to be an active participant in the implementation of this state initiative. "Today, our university has 5 double-degree and 11 international programs. In the new academic year, we plan to open new two-degree programs in Medicine and Business in cooperation with the University of Arizona. More than 1,200 students from Kazakhstan, the USA, China and Russia study there. In 2026, the first graduation will take place – 133 students, 31 of them will receive two diplomas," Yerbol Isakayev said. The university's management and teaching staff consider the President's speech as a guideline for further development and invites applicants, students and scientists to join a new stage in the transformation of the educational environment in the region.
