Short-term planning

Short-term planning includes three levels.

University-level objectives of short-term planning is presented by Aims of NKSU named after M. Kozybaev in quality, plans for improvements, plans deliberative bodies, annual work plans for directions.

General objectives of the university in the field of quality produced annually based on an analysis of the university to provide quality training and results of processes, taking into account the strategic development programs and activities of the current requirements. Objectives of the university are being held in the terms of quality - the key performance indicators in different areas of the University for the Academic Year.  Formulation of goals  are measurable and achievable.

Based on the quality objectives of the university concerning  each unit, which are the main indicators  to maintain the overall their quality of the university its policy, strategic development and private tasks.

Short-term work plans also include this level of annual work plans and advisory bodies: the Guardian Council, the Academic Council of administration, teaching council, the Scientific Council.

At the beginning of the school year on the basis of long-term planning documents developed overall plans for areas of activity: research work (plan NIS), educational work, staff development, employment of graduates, administrative activity.

At the level of structural units represented by short-term planning goals of the university departments in the areas of quality, annual work plans subdivisions, comprehensive plans faculties and institutes, departments work plans.

Plans for subdivisions,  including faculties and departments, and a high concentration of each type of close relationship with the purpose of directions. Plans include a mandatory time frame of responsible persons and to mark on the graph execution. One of the requirements for short-term plans is their compliance with the mission, strategic goals and objectives of the University, the availability section for performance improvement, which can be verified in the course of internal audits.

Annual plans of works of divisions are developed at the beginning of academic year (or calendar – for some services) with direct participation of staff of divisions; drafts of plans are discussed at meetings of chairs or divisions. Plans works of chair are coordinated with deans of faculties, vice-chancellor for the directions and approved as the rector. Plans of work of faculties/institute are agreed with vice rectors for the directions and also approved as the rector. Plans of work of divisions (service, department, and sector) are approved by the supervising vice-chancellor.

Plans of works are part of the nomenclature of affairs of all divisions and respectively are open documents for the staff of these divisions.

At individual level planning is presented by plans of work responsible for the directions (for example, the deputy deans on scientific work and quality management, curators) and individual plans of PTS (professional and teaching staff).

For ensuring activity with necessary resources of division of higher education institution during the autumn period demands  were met for material support. This type of demands includes providing with the computer equipment, educational laboratory equipment, a stationery, furniture, repair, etc. Demands pass all levels of discussion and coordination at meeting of specially created commission with participation of heads of divisions.

On the basis of the development plan of the higher education institution approved by Board of Education RK, taking into account the current requirements the annual plan of government procurements is formed.

When providing chairs and divisions the educational laboratory equipment without fail provides development of the plan of introduction of this equipment in educational process and registration of the act of introduction. The question of efficiency of use of the equipment is considered further at joint meetings.
