The crouded hall with fans and spectators, the catwalk and pretty girls ready to struggle to be called the most beautiful girl of the University all this is possible to see only once a year when the most brilliant, long-awaited and interesting event – ‘University’s Pearl’ – takes place in the University. The beauty contest has become a tradition already and every year the prettiest and the most decent female-students gather here, one of which takes place on the pedestal.

17 girls participated in the contest this year. The preparation for the beauty contest demands a lot of creative, physical and even material expenses. That is why our participants got help of The Student’s Club managers and workers. Some weeks of rehearsals, worked-out costumes, make-up, beautiful hair-cuts and here they are ready to impress the audience and the jury.

The contest consisted of 4 stages during which the young participants had a chance to show all their skills and abilities, proving that everything in a person should be beautiful: his soul, body and thoughts. In accordance with the tradition the early stage of the contest was ‘Visiting Card’ where the girls had to fully present themselves but very shortly, in some sentences. During the participants’ performance the audience was shown their portfolio with the help of the Multimedia Device.

At the second stage of the contest – creative one and perhaps the most difficult – the participating students presented their skills to behave on the stage. This level required not only the ability to feel free before an anormous audience but also the capability to surprise them or even to make them laugh and cry. The third stage named ‘Sun, sea, beach’ made the girls demonstrate swimming-suits, accessories and even express playful, i.e. summer mood governing beaches. The party-dress is the only dress that reveals the girl’s gracefullness, gentleness and femininity. The ability to ware such dresses is a great talant that was showed by all participants of the beauty contest at the last stage.

‘Every girl took part in the beauty contest consciously, each of them has brought something unique, a new and unusual idea: one of them wanted to make the audience laugh, another one – recollect something, and the third one even – get sad about something’ said Zarema Muratovna, the executive manager of the Student’s Club and the contest organizer. The audience greatly supported the participants, especially those whome they liked. Thus, Polina Galakhova was awarded with the nomination ‘Miss Audience’s Sweetheart’ due to the thunderous applause of her fans, moreover she was annouced ‘Miss Estel’. Alina Aliftenova has become ‘Miss Photomodel’, Dinara Zhailadbayeva was declared ‘Miss Ademi’, Mary Khlevnaya is known now as ‘Miss Ainalaiyn’, Nina Fadeeva was awarded as ‘Miss Gracefulness’ and Sabina Khalilova got the nomination ‘Miss Faberlic’.

The title ‘University’s Pearl -2010’ is given to Anar Dzhumabaeva, the student of Power Engineering and Machine Building Department. She is studying at the University in accordance with the speciality Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications. This contest for Anar is only a new step to her next life period. Anar has been invited to take part in one more beauty contest ‘Northen Beauty -2010’ that is going to take place in Kostanai at the end of May. The contest’s producer Marina Mikhailenko has offered Anar work in her fashion house ‘Desigh-Fashion’.

There are a lot of contests and trials awaiting Anar in future and we want luck and joy never to abandon her, perhaps they are the most important secrets of the beauty of NKSU Pearl-2010.
