Republic Students’ Olympiad took place at Karaganda State Technical University.

3 and 4-year students of Mining Studies, Mechanical Engineering Studies, Instrument-making Studies, Environment Studies, Standardization, Metrology, and Certification Studies participated in the Olympiad

Within 3 days students competed hard doing high-level tests and tasks. 4 students of our University Dameli Shigobayeva, Stanislav Lukyanov, Amir Iskakov and Aigul Musina had a chance to show their own knowledge. The Republic Olympiad is held for the second time, but our University take place in it for the first time. However, despite this, the students from Power and Mechanical Engineering Department managed to return with 3 second-degree diplomas.

Students from Languages and Literature Institute were lucky as well. Recently they have arrived from the Olympiad that was held at Kazakh University of International Affairs and World Languages named after Abylai-khan.

Our studens showed good results. A. Khomutovskii, A. Bolackii, T. Rogova, and A. Beshkova took honorable 2, 3 and 4 places awards. Furthermore, our students are not going to stop. E.P. Tetyukhin, PhD in Philological Scienses, is sure that next year these students will be able to prove that they deserve first-place awards.
