Students theater ‘Shanyrak’ presented its audience a new play called ‘Bizdin kishkentai aul’ (Our small village). The play is based on the love story of a Kazakh boy - Talgat and a Korean girl named Yin Yu.

They love each other, but alas they can not be together, because the boy’s father, who was highly respected in his village, is against international families. The plot of the play consists of citizens’ actions living in the same village who try to make the old man change his mind and in this way to help the lovers.

At the end of the play as it usually happens with stories with happy ends the old man allows his son and her lover to marry. All citizens of the ual are having fun at the wedding party demonstrating songs and dances of various peoples.

The play was a brilliant show that was created by the theater’s group consisting of first-year and second-year students and a dancing group. According to Toktar and Zarina’s words who played main roles it was not so easy to participate in such a play. The most difficult task was to not forget words when a big audience look at you. It really makes one nervous. Fortunately, the thunderous applause proved that the audience liked the play a lot. It was really successful.The actors of the theater ‘Shanyrak’ again displayed their proficiency in acting. Moreover, the amateur actors and actresses are looking forward to the tour throughout Kazakhstan.
