Congress of Eurasian Association of Universities held in L.N. Gumilyov ENU on March 10, 2009. The Eurasian Association of Universities was established on the initiative of the Moscow state University rector Victor Sadovnichy in 1989. Today ninety eight various establishments of higher education are among its members. The speech of the RK President Nursultan Nazarbayev attached great importance to the Congress. The NKSU students were shown the video film about the 11th Congress. “Without high level of the education system there can be neither economy, nor the developed society of the XXI century”, said in his speech Alexander Tukachyov, the vice-rector on scientific work and international contacts. “That is why the formation of the integrated educational space of the CIC subject to available world experience is an urgent today’s task“.
