They have brought nine medals of different face values. All the prize winners are students of the Physical Education Department. The golden medals were won by the long jumper Pavel Dudnik, 300 and 400-meter-runner Margarita Matsko, 800-meter-runner Damir Fayzullin and 3000-meter-runner Anna Pyatkina.

Three students of our University have joined the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan in track-and-field. They are Irina Litvinenko, Anna Pyatkina and Margarita Matsko. They are going to take part in the World Student Games 2009 which are to take place in Belgrade (Serbia). Let us wish our athletes future victories and world record breaks!
